HTC Desire ini berjalan dengan HTC Sense untuk mengkustomisasi tujuh panel tampilan depan. Pengguna HTC Desire ini juga bisa menambahkan widget-widget seperti message, email-email, dan call history, Flickr, Facebook, di tampilan depan.

Ponsel HTC Desire ini juga memiliki kamera 5.0 megapixel, MP3 Player, FM Radio dan Wi-Fi juga internet kecepatan tinggi 3G.
